Virtual Production — Week 10
Contribute to the Brainstorm
For last week, our group’s story is:
Truman meets a snake in the park, who takes him to a fridge behind the bush, and inside the fridge, he finds a cake.
Once he eats the cake, asteroids start falling from the sky upon which aliens arrive.
Amidst the burning city, Batman suddenly appears in his batmobile and says, “Welcome to the real world!”
Assets packs:
Since the story started in the park, I started with the scene.
Then the incarnation of evil: the snake.
In order to match the story setting, I found some trees with unique shapes where snakes appeared.
Next to our important item: cake and fridge.
Then the disaster began: asteroids.
And then, our guest- aliens arrive. Because they destroyed the city, I found some aliens who were armed or with sci-fi appearance.
Next, Because the city is burning, so I found some burning wood/house.
After, I try to find some cars that are a little similar to batmobile.
Finally, because the protagonist of our story is Truman, I imagine that all the stories happened in a film studio. So I found some scenes and props related to the studio.
Tutorials:
Since the story involves asteroids falling and destroying the city, I found a tutorial that can create an asteroid landing effect.
Because there is a burning city in our story, I found some tutorials that can create burning effects and burn wood animation.
The Batman part isn’t really a tutorial, but I found some very impressive projects to run in Unreal.
